How to play

  • A playhead circles a 16-step loop. Tap anywhere (or press Space) to stamp a note wherever the head is right now.
  • Notes are permanent. Tap a step that already holds one and the run ends.
  • Stamping next to an existing note doubles your points — beside two of them, quadruples.
  • Fill all 16 steps to clear the loop for a big bonus. The loop then comes back faster, forever.

Strategy & tips

  • The board fills with your own decisions, so early notes decide how hard the late game is.
  • Chase adjacency — a note stamped beside another is worth far more than an isolated one, and consecutive multiplied stamps build a chain bonus.
  • Leave yourself an escape lane. Ringing the loop with notes early means nowhere safe to land later.
  • You are never forced to tap. Idling never kills you and never scores, so wait for the head to reach the step you actually want.
  • Every clear speeds the loop up permanently, so bank the chain bonuses while the head is still slow.

FAQ

How do I aim a note at a specific step?

You do not — you time it. The whole board is one button and the note lands wherever the playhead is, which is what makes it a rhythm game rather than a targeting game.

How does a run end?

Only by stamping a step that already has a note. Waiting never kills you, so every loss comes from your own last tap.

What happens when the loop fills up?

It clears for a bonus, a fresh set of blocked steps appears, and the playhead gets permanently faster.

Does my best score save?

Yes. Your best is stored in your browser, and you can submit it to the weekly leaderboard.
