Reactor is an idle clicker wrapped in neon, built on the genre's addictive loop: tap the core to charge it by hand at first, spend that charge on modules that then produce energy automatically every second, and watch the whole thing snowball while you barely touch it. The habit that separates idle-game veterans from beginners is to buy by payback — the module whose cost divided by its output is lowest — rather than simply the cheapest one or saving for a shiny tier, and to check back after a break, since the reactor keeps earning while the tab is closed and offline pay often buys the next upgrade outright. When growth finally stalls, Reboot wipes your modules but adds a permanent +10% to all production for every reboot you have made (a linear boost, not a compounding one), and each further reboot asks for another million in lifetime energy. Offline earnings cap at eight hours with a welcome-back summary waiting. Everything saves locally in your browser, your best lifetime energy can climb the weekly board, and it costs nothing to start humming along.

Do I have to keep tapping?
No. Tapping only bootstraps your first modules. After that the reactor produces energy automatically, even while the tab is closed.
Does it really earn while I am away?
Yes. Offline progress is capped at eight hours, and you get a welcome-back summary of what your reactor made while you were gone.
What does Reboot (prestige) do?
It resets your charge and modules but keeps your lifetime energy, adds +10% to all production per reboot and +1 tap power. The first reboot unlocks at 1M lifetime energy, and each later one needs another 1M.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in your browser. Your reactor, modules and reboots are stored locally, and your best lifetime energy can go on the weekly leaderboard.
