Ticker compresses the whole psychology of a market into twenty all-or-nothing rounds. Hot assets tend to pay, but the longer one runs hot, the higher its risk of a sharp snap downward, and your worth compounds from round to round, so a single well-timed ride can balloon while one greedy hold too long can gut you.
