About Yukon Solitaire
Yukon Solitaire is Klondike's bolder cousin, and the difference is liberating: there is no stock and no waste pile at all — all fifty-two cards are dealt straight to the seven columns and every one of them is in play from the first move. The signature rule is what makes it sing. You can pick up any face-up card along with everything piled on top of it and move the whole stack, even when that stack is not in sequence, as long as the bottom card of the group lands legally on an alternating color. That turns buried cards into something you can dig out directly rather than patiently unstacking, so the game rewards bold, multi-card maneuvers Klondike never allows. The craft is still turning over the face-down cards fast, emptying a column to house a King, and not rushing everything to the foundations when you might need those cards to shuffle piles around. How to play
- All the cards are dealt to seven columns — there is no stock or waste pile to draw from.
- Build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King to win.
- On the tableau, stack cards down in alternating colours — a red six on a black seven.
- Move ANY face-up card and everything on top of it as one group, even if that group is not in order.
