About 2048 Animals
2048 Animals keeps the addictive spine of the number puzzle that ate the internet and swaps the tiles for a menagerie. Slide the whole board with an arrow key or a swipe, and when two of the same creature bump together they merge and evolve one rung up the chain — two mice make a hamster, two hamsters a rabbit, on through fox, cat, dog, wolf, lion, tiger and bear until, if you play well enough, a dragon appears where the 2048 tile would sit. The mechanics are byte-for-byte the classic, which means the classic strategy still rules: park your strongest animal in a corner and feed it in order, sticking to two swipe directions so the board stays sorted from strongest to weakest rather than scattering into a jam. Plenty of players find a fox easier to spot at a glance than a 128, and that little bit of visual grip is exactly why the animal skin sticks. It loads instantly in the browser, so there is always time for one more evolution.
How to play
- Swipe or use arrow keys to slide every animal tile in one direction.
