About Word Guess
Word Guess is the daily-style deduction game that turned everyone into an amateur cryptographer: a hidden five-letter word, six tries, and a wall of colour to reason through. Type any valid word and each letter lights green if it is in the right spot, yellow if it belongs to the word but sits elsewhere, and grey if it is not in there at all — clues mirrored on the on-screen keyboard so you can see your alphabet shrinking. The opening guess is where games are won or lost; a vowel-and-consonant-rich starter like CRANE or SLATE lights up the most clues, and spending your second guess on five brand-new letters tests more of the alphabet before you start committing. From there, keep your greens pinned and shuffle the yellows into fresh positions, and watch for the sneaky double letter that trips people up. Save a wild guess for when you have turns to spare, and play it safe when you are down to your last. A new word every round, nothing to install, all by touch on a phone.
How to play
- Type any valid 5-letter word and press Enter to make a guess.
