How to play
- Sixteen tiles hide four secret groups of four — by category, theme, or connection.
- Tap four tiles you think share a group, then press Submit.
- A correct guess locks that group in as a colored row; a wrong guess costs one of your four lives.
- Find all four groups before you run out of lives to win the day.
Strategy & tips
- Start with the group you are surest of — locking it in removes four tiles and clears the clutter.
- Watch for traps: tiles are chosen so some look like they fit two groups. The trickiest tier is purple.
- If a guess is "one away", three of your four belong together — swap the odd one out instead of starting over.
- Do not spend a life on a hunch. Shuffle to see the tiles fresh and hold off until a group clicks.
- The fewer mistakes you make, the higher your grade — a flawless solve is worth the patience.

Is there a new puzzle every day?
Yes. Clusters is a daily puzzle — the same 16 tiles for everyone that day, generated from the date so no server is needed. Practice mode gives you endless fresh boards any time.
How many mistakes can I make?
Four. Each wrong group of four costs one life; run out and the puzzle ends. Solve all four groups first to win.
What does "one away" mean?
Your guess had three tiles from a single group and one that belongs elsewhere. Keep the three, swap the fourth.
Can I share my result without spoilers?
Yes. The share card is a colored emoji grid of your guesses — it shows how you did without revealing the answers, just like the daily word games.
Does my best score save?
Yes. Your best is stored in your browser, and you can submit it to the weekly leaderboard.
