About Overfold
Overfold is an original puzzle that treats a sheet of paper as the board itself. Coloured pips sit on a grid, each in a matching pair, and you clear the board by tapping a crease between two rows or columns to fold the smaller flap over the rest — reflecting its cells down onto the ones beneath. Where a pip lands on its matching colour, both seal and score, and stacking several seals into one fold chains a combo. But fold two different colours onto the same cell and it jams permanently, blocking that square for good. The thing that makes it bite is permanence: every fold shrinks the paper for the rest of the puzzle, and the board only ever gets smaller, so the order of your folds is the whole strategy. A single Unfold is your only safety valve when a fold goes wrong. Each board is built by scrambling a solved layout with inverse folds, so it is always solvable within its par.
