How to play
- Four hidden five-letter words fill four boards shown at the same time.
- Type any real five-letter word and it is guessed on all four boards at once.
- Green means right letter, right spot; yellow means right letter, wrong spot; grey means not in that word.
- You have nine guesses total — solve all four boards before they run out to win.
Strategy & tips
- Open with words full of common letters to light up all four boards fast.
- A letter can be green on one board and grey on another — read each board on its own.
- Once a board is nearly solved, finish it quickly to stop it eating your limited guesses.
- Save a guess for a board that is still wide open rather than confirming one you already know.
- Nine guesses for four words is tight — every guess should gather clues on more than one board.
FAQ
How is Quadle different from a normal word game?
You solve four words at once, not one. Each guess is scored against all four boards, so you juggle four puzzles with a shared, limited pool of nine guesses.
Is there a new puzzle every day?
Yes. Quadle is a daily puzzle — the same four words for everyone that day, generated from the date so no server is needed. Practice mode gives endless fresh puzzles any time.
How many guesses do I get?
Nine. That is six as in a single word game plus one for each extra board. Solve all four boards within nine guesses to win.
Do invalid words cost a guess?
No. A word that is not in the dictionary is rejected and does not use up one of your nine guesses.
Can I share my result without spoilers?
Yes. The share card shows which guess solved each board in a small grid — no letters revealed, just like the daily word games.
Does my best score save?
Yes. Your best is stored in your browser, and you can submit it to the weekly leaderboard.
