About Quadle
Quadle is the five-letter guessing game with the difficulty turned up fourfold: four hidden words, four boards, all solved at the same time. Every word you type is scored against all four at once — green for right letter and spot, yellow for right letter wrong spot, grey for absent — so a single guess sprays clues across the whole puzzle, and the same letter can glow green on one board while it is greyed out on another. You get nine guesses for the four words, which sounds generous and is not, so the discipline is making every guess earn its keep on more than one board, opening with letter-rich words to light everything up early and then finishing nearly-solved boards fast before they eat your dwindling supply. Invalid words are simply rejected and cost you nothing. The four words are the same for everyone each day, drawn from the date with no server behind it, and a spoiler-free grid shows which guess cracked each board.
