Ricochet

Ricochet is a one-tap chain puzzle that reads like plotting a route through traffic. Every tile carries a number from one to four and an arrow; tap one and a bolt leaps that many cells in the arrow's direction. Where it lands, that tile clears and scores, and the bolt immediately obeys the new tile beneath it — hopping again, and again, snaking across the board until it finally lands on an empty cell or flies off the edge. It can never loop forever, because each tile it touches clears behind it, so every chain resolves. What matters is that scoring is convex: one long trail is worth wildly more than a handful of short ones, so the game becomes a hunt for the single ignition point that sends the bolt on a grand tour. You learn to trace arrows ahead of your tap and to favour tiles whose paths curl back into dense clusters. It plays free in the browser, refills with gravity after each chain, and saves your best score to keep you rescanning for the big one.
