Splice

Splice is a graph-cutting puzzle with a genuinely fresh feel: the board is a web of coloured nodes wired together by edges, and each turn you snip a single edge. The moment any connected group ends up a single colour, it collapses for points — and because scoring is the group's size squared, one enormous same-colour group is worth vastly more than a scatter of little ones. A collapse can also sever the remaining network and set off further collapses in the same turn, so the deep play is engineering chains: find the one cut that isolates a big cluster, or that disconnects the board into a cascade. Fewer cuts means a better result, which turns each board into a hunt for the minimum-cut line rather than a hack-everything-apart brawl. A preview shows which two groups any edge bridges, so you can plan instead of guess, and every board ships with a guaranteed achievable par.
