Unblock — you may know it as Rush Hour or the sliding-block escape puzzle — takes one of the most satisfying feelings in puzzling, freeing something that is stuck, and builds a whole game around it. A red block is trapped in a jam of other blocks; each one slides only along its own length, never turning, and your job is to shuffle them out of the way until the red block has a clear run to the exit. The early levels almost solve themselves, but the hard ones are genuine brain-teasers where the winning first move often looks like the wrong one, and where solving it in the fewest moves is a puzzle of its own.
